NordYrk is a Nordic research network on vocational education and training. The participating countries are Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.
The network is important to strengthen the research base of the field and to promote cooperation and knowledge development on vocational issues in the Nordic countries. As you will see from these web pages, some information is in English, and some in a Scandinavian language. A yearly conference is organized, visited by researchers, teacher educators for vocational teacher training students, and actors in the field.
På grund af corona-pandemien er NordYrk 2020 konferencen desværre aflyst. NordYrk Konferencen 2021 finder sted på Linköbing Universitet 7.-9. juni 2021
Konferencetemaet for 2020 vil indgå i næste års konference. Hvis du har indsendt abstract til 2020 konferencen vil du modtage feedback som planlagt. Ved accept af abstract er man forhåndsgodkendt til at deltage med sit abstract i konferencen 2021.

Due to the corona-pandemic, the NordYrk 2020 conference is unfortunately cancelled. Time and place for the NordYrk 2021 conference will be posted here as soon as possible.
The 2020 conference theme will be part of the next year’s conference. If you have submittet an abstract to the NordYrk 2020 conference you will receive feedback as planned. If your abstract is approved you are preapproved for participation with your abstract at the 2021 conference.
The 2019 conference was hosted by Arcada UAS– Arcada University of Applied Sciences.
The 2018 conference was hosted by OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University (previously Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences).
Dalarna University was the host of the conference in 2017.
The Nordic Journal of Vocational Education and Training (NJVET) is published on behalf of NordYrk.
