NordYrk is the Nordic research network on vocational education and training (VET). The participating countries are Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.
The network aims at strengthening the research base of the field. It promotes the cooperation and knowledge development of issues related to vocational education and training and continuing professional development in the Nordic countries. The network uses both Scandinavian languages and English. As you will see from these web pages, some information is in English, and some in Scandinavian languages. The network organises the NordYrk conference annually in cooperation with Nordic educational organisations interested in the development of the field. The conference is attended by researchers, teacher educators for vocational teacher training students, and actors in the field.
Since the conference in 2022, NordYrk also has a PhD network, which meets at the annual conference. The PhD network also has a Facebook group for communication and information among PhD students in the area of VET.
