NordYrk is a Nordic research network on vocational education and training. The participating countries are Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.
The network is important to strengthen the research base of the field and to promote cooperation and knowledge development on vocational issues in the Nordic countries.
As you will see from these web pages, some information is in English, and some in a Scandinavian language.
A yearly conference is organized, visited by researchers, teacher educators for vocational teacher training students, and actors in the field.
The 2020 NordYrk conference will be hosted by University College Copenhagen. In 2020 the Nordic Research Network on Vocational Education and Training (NordYrk) is celebrating its 10 years anniversary at the 2020 NordYrk conference. The dates have already been set: 10th – 12th of June 2020 in Copenhagen.
The theme of the conference is: Transitions to, within, and from school to work life.

The 2019 conference will be hosted by Arcada UAS– Arcada University of Applied Sciences. Dates and location have been set: 12th – 14th of June 2019 in Helsinki, Finland. More information can be found at Nordyrk 2019. The programme can be found here.
The 2018 conference will be hosted by OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University (previously Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences).
